AngelDown has existed since 1996, formed by Mark Taylor - the only existing member of the original line up. Two lead guitarists, two drummers and three bassists later, AngelDown are improving all the time growing heavier but still keeping the strong melodic vocals that always distinguished the band.

Rishy Kumar joined the band in 2002 and with his style of gut wrenching riffs and solo articulation, began to lead the band down a new path of metal. With Michael Sunderland joining on the bass and Pai (an original member) on the drums, Angeldown went into the studio to produce ‘Meat’, an EP summing up the last 10 years of the band.

Shortly after the Meat’s release, Pai left the band to join David R Black, and Tom Macklin stepped in behind the drums to pick up where he had left off.

It was Three years before the band went back into the studio to record ‘Liver Damage’. During this time Mark and his wife Lauren celebrated the newest arrival to the Taylor clan - their son Koby and the band spent careful time writing the new material that would make up the EP.
